Not all of it’s good, not all of it’s bad, and now life is back to almost normal so I’m slowly coming around to replies and such. I’ve missed you all so very very much <3
Breakfast made, book packed, and coffee roaring hot in her thermos, Sarah Williams filled her basket and tucked her dress as she situated herself upon her retro Schwinn. It was a prized gift from her father upon her acceptance letter to GWU. Studies were tiring, and though she couldn’t wait to start Classical Acting, she felt it wise to get her minimum reqs out of the way. Granted this meant endless hours of study that drove her nuts. Best way to clear her mind was breakfast with Lincoln.
A good book and her humble breakfast accompanied the girl at the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and was generally uninterrupted. Except this particular morning. She hadn’t paid much attention to the jogger at first, until she noticed him passing the same man multiple times. Sarah had been watching the news when the Avengers saved New York and technically the world. She’d remembered reading the papers about the super human man they’d found frozen for over fifty years. However, she hadn’t actually expected to be sitting feet away from the hero’s daily run.
Trying not to gawk, she couldn’t help the chuckle that escaped her at his millionth “On your left.” She just hadn’t realized her chuckle had come out more as a good-hearted laugh.
“Alright Sarah, see you afterwards.” The blonde waved as she vanished around the corner. The Williams girl was left standing a few feet from her class, not entirely thrilled the semester was starting again, and apparently there was a new professor. Brilliant. You finally get used to the grading scale and they switch out your teacher. The girl sighed, hugging her books to her chest. To think, she’d made it to college, Oxford to be exact, and it thrilled her to no end. It was hard being so far from home, but Toby sent her pictures of the family and Merlin and kept her homesickness to a minimum. After all, it was England and an hour from downtown London. It made her romantic heart soar.
Pushing back a bit of hair, she found a seat toward the middle of the room, just a few rows from the front. Made it easier to hear in the event the Professor was more the quiet type. “Oi! Williams! Hold that chair!” A wild haired ginger yelled from the door as he haphazardly clung to his laptop. She smirked as she set her bag on the chair next to her for Jeremy. As he hobbled in front of her, trying not to clamor over everyone, Sarah’s eyes fell to their new professor and the world seemed to stop.
Blonde hair, different than she remembered, adorned a man with very striking features. Features that had haunted her dreams for the past four years and had been the topic of far too many therapy sessions. Was it her imagination? It had to be. “Sarah… Sarah!?” Jeremy nudged her, “You alright?”
“Ya… Ya I think…” She mumbled, waiting for the man to speak. Someone could certainly look the part… but his voice would be unmistakable. And something she’d never forgotten.
Rain pelted the window with vigor, filling the small apartment with the sound of marbles on tile. Sarah had just gotten home from the University, and was drenched to the core. Damn umbrella… She cursed; it was her second one blown out this month. Think I’ll stick to a parka next time… Letting her bag slide to the floor near the doorway, and throwing her keys into the bowl on the entry table, she slumped onto the couch. Kicking off her shoes with each toe, she lay on her stomach, her head propped up in one hand and the remote in the other.
After two and a half shows of Fraiser, the last fives minutes of MythBusters and twenty minutes into The Princess Bride, Sarah finally turned off the TV. “C'mon Hoggle, dinner for you, bed for me.” She stated to the orange tabby that was resting on the back of the sofa. Walking to the kitchen, she lazily opened the pantry, before letting a few choice words escape her lips at its sparcity. “Well dear Hoggle… since I love you…” she stroked the tabby who’d jumped onto the kitchen counter, “I’ll go get your food.“
Donning her jacket, and slipping into her shoes (after muddling for a time to retrieve one that had fallen between the wall and the couch) she headed for the car, where she’d left the bag of food she’d snagged on the way home.
An arm full of cat food, for it was a better bargain to go for the jumbo bag, the girl yelled for the elevator as it was beginning to shut, "HOLD THE DOOR!!!” Getting inside, she let a sigh of relief. The elevators at Abby Court Villas was less than generous to it’s waiting patrons. “Thanks, much appreciated.” She said to the stranger over the bag of food. “Name’s Sarah. You must be new to the building?”
I went on hiatus… And then forgot my email 0.0
After many hair pulling (years?) I finally got back in!!!

She smirked, “Believe me when I tell you my imagination is either making you grander or more monstrous than what you in fact, actually are.” She sipped her drink, thankful for the cool beer. “So, how can you afford to be so candid about your position in the world? Seems a criminal wouldn’t go around telling every stranger he meets his occupation.” Her eyes sparkled slightly; she felt no fear sitting next to Mr. Moriarty, in fact, she was slightly excited. That was, if in fact he was speaking truth.
“Well, you asked.” He let out a lighthearted chuckle. “There isn’t much the authorities can do about me. There’s no evidence. I’m too good.” He smiled and swiveled on his bar stool to face her. “Now, enough about me. Tell me about yourself.”
It took all her power to keep her mouth closed; the urge to let her jaw fall in shock was strong. “Bit bold you are.” She smirked into her glass. “Oh, me? Not much to tell…” She tapped her nails against her glass beer mug. “Well, currently attending the University of London; looking at majoring in English Lit… Would be grand to be accepted into their dance program as well.” She smiled sheepishly. “A little whimsy huh?"

“Currently?” She chuckled eyeing her book, “Getting away from reality…” She tapped on the edge of her coffee mug before continuing, “Otherwise, I’m just going to university.” The thought of what Rigantona said about fixing problems made Sarah curious, “Just what sort of problems do you fix?” Her mind was lingering on the neighbor a floor below.
“Books are wonderful for that, aren’t they?” Riggy looked at the title of the book and then her name was called for her order. She motioned with her finger for a second and she got her frap. She returned shortly, “Well, college is fun, a time to explore who you are and you want to be.” She sipped her drink, trying too think of how to word this, “I fix problems that most people won’t want to believe are there.”
Sarah sipped on her coffee, a grin forming on her lips as the girl before her informed her as to her occupation. “Oh try me…” She chuckled; after a stint in the Labyrinth, there was little Sarah wouldn’t believe. Albeit, she had no intention of confiding to Riggy about said fact; last thing she needed was yet another person thinking she was a loon.
